Overview
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, oxidized form; nadide) is a dinucleotide coenzyme, not a peptide. It consists of an adenosine nucleotide and a nicotinamide riboside nucleotide joined by a pyrophosphate bridge. It is supplied as a lyophilized powder in sealed 100 mg and 500 mg vials.

Research applications
NAD+ is the oxidized form of the NAD+/NADH redox pair and a substrate for sirtuins, poly(ADP-ribose) polymerases (PARPs) and the NAD+ glycohydrolases CD38 and CD157. Research applications include enzyme kinetics and redox biochemistry, sirtuin and PARP activity assays, and studies of NAD+ metabolism and salvage pathways.
Handling and storage
NAD+ is hygroscopic. Long-term storage: keep lyophilized vials at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture. Let the vial reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. After reconstitution, store at 2–8 °C.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use, and not for use as a drug, food, cosmetic or supplement.
